Vancouver –– August 9, 2016 –– LOOPShare Ltd. (TSX-V: LUP), a global provider of electric scooter shared fleet services and technology today announced the appointment of Clive Wright as COO and CTO.
Clive Wright is an entrepreneur and engineer with over 27 years of hardware and software product development and management experience. His development work has included extensive work on mobile devices, embedded systems and applications on modern smartphones.
Clive’s background includes 4 years working for Motorola in their Mobile Data Division as well as Silicon Valley mobile data startup Metricom (a Silicon Valley company doing metro-area “Wi-Fi” 10 years ahead of its time). He also started and operated a company called Xybec Solutions for over 7 years, which supplied software and development services to communications companies including AT&T Wireless, Bell Mobility, Orange, Rogers and Swisscom. Xybec was successfully sold to a Boston, MA area company in 2006. He continued to operate the Vancouver office for some time after its acquisition, managing all operational aspects. Mr. Wright has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic) from the University of Leicester (UK).
